On the eve of the Senate vote to renew the Patriot Act the New York Times conveniently reported that President Bush had authorized the National Security Agency to eavesdrop on Americans and others inside the United States without obtaining search warrants following the September 11 attacks. That timely revelation by The NY Times scuttled the vote and will put Americans at perilous risk of terrorist attacks.

Within minutes after The NY Times released their report Democrat congressional leaders Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi were expressing their outrage along with the rest of the left wing buffoons. They were out in full force condemning Bush for violating the civil rights of countless Americans.

On December 18, 2005 on "Fox News Sunday" a contentious Harry Reid several tines tried to deny any knowledge or involvement in the NSA wire taps. After being pressed by host Chris Wallace that congressional leaders had been briefed Reid with guilt written on his face reluctantly admitted he was clearly aware and in the loop as well as being briefed regularly by Bush concerning the wire taps. Reid also admitted to not raising any objections during his involvement in the domestic surveillance program. Let it be known that Reid never voiced any outrage until he got caught with his fingers in the cookie jar.

Nancy Pelosi on the day before the Reid confession confessed to the same involvement as Reid and voiced no objections during her involvement in the same domestic surveillance program.

Bill Clinton during his Presidency had the NSA monitor millions of personal phone calls, private emails and even ATM transactions inside the U.S. all without a court order.

One never knows does one?
